job description

We are currently recruiting for an expense ledger assistant for a company based in Olton, near to Solihull. The role is a 9 month fixed term contact to start with and you will be working in a small to medium sized office.

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach and who is comfortable being very busy at times! You will be closely working one other person, however working in a team of 7 altogether.

Your Responsibilities:



* Monitoring the teams email box on a daily basis, printing out appropriate information, delegating out supplier queries to the appropriate team member
* Supporting the processing of 2000 documents
* Scanning and barcoding invoices onto our electronic archive database
* Sorting of invoices into the various different processing sections
* Processing of Invoices onto our AP finance system
* Matching of invoices to purchase receipts for invoices via our purchasing system
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Dealing with supplier queries
* Daily use of excel
* Liaising with internal personnel re queries on invoices
* Office facilities-Ordering stationary, milk, monitoring post

Your Skills/ Experience



* Experience of working in an Accounts Payable environment or other transactional finance environment
* Strong communication skills on the telephone and on email
* Strong team player
* Good excel skills - intermediate to advanced level of excel required

The salary for this role is £18000 a year and we are looking for someone to start quite soon
