The RoleThis role is a brilliant step in progressing in the building surveying industry. With recent assistant surveyors having gained their chartership and progressing upwards, the investors and lenders team are looking to welcome motivated assistant building surveyors to carry out project based and professional work. The role also comes with a support system to help the candidate through the APC pathway in order to be able to progress to a full chartership. Candidates will be working on commercial properties such as retail units, offices, warehouses and depots and will carry out minor works, surveys, reports and be involved with the general maintenance of commercial properties. Candidates will be part of a team of 10 surveyors; a director, 2 associates, 3 seniors, chartered surveyors and assistant surveyors, and will be required to assist on tasks and lead small projects for commercial properties when needed. The company values collaboration and usually works towards a team target. The tasks will be more collaborative than individual, therefore teamwork and communication is a key skill a candidate should possess.
