Maintenance Operative/Handyperson - Luxury Hotel - Immediate Start - Up to £13 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for a luxury hotel located near Victoria. The successful candidate will have proven track record in commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to work as a static Handyperson/Fabric engineer covering (M&E / Fabric) planned and reactive maintenance in the iconic building located in London.

You will be working in one of London's most iconic buildings within a team of other engineers from mechanical, electrical and plumbers. The ideal candidate would come from a commercial background.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the below duties;

* Fabric Duties
* Plumbing, unblocking toilets, washers, taps
* Carpentry duties
* Painting and decorating

You may be asked to help and get involved with other engineers dealing with the below;

* Lighting - Lamp changes, ballast changes
* Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
* AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
* Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)

You may also be require to get involved in the plumbing side of things from blocking toilets, unblocking stacks, along with dealing with washer and taps etc.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Due to the hotel environment you will be required to be flexible with your working hours and you may possibly be asked to work over the weekend.
