Fabric Engineer / Handy Person - Large University - North London - Temporary - Up to £13.00 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for an in house FM team. I am currently looking for a Fabric Engineer / Handy Person to be based in a large University in North London. The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of most trades including;

* Basic electrical (Lamp changes)
* Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, changing taps/washers
* Carpentry - Changing/fixing locks
* Water treatment - L8 / PH Testing
* Painting & Decorating
* Tiling (Desirable / No essential)

He or she will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This is a temporary on going position, which pays an hourly rate of up to £13.00 per based on experience and any recognised trade qualifications.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 09:00am to 17:00pm (35 hour week)
5 / 7 days a week - He or she will be required to work every other weekend during vacation periods and every other Saturday during term time.


* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* An understanding of most trades; Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting & Decorating
* Immediately available or can start at short notice
* Good communication skills
* Any trade qualifications/certificates (Highly desirable / Not essential)
