Facilities Manager - North West
£39000 - £53000 salary plus benefits

Randstad are delighted to be working alongside a national organisation and one of the largest property owners in the UK. They are recruiting for a Facilities Manager based in the North West

The main purpose of the role is to provide a sustainable facilities service, being a key point of contact for clients in order to deliver a safe and secure environment.

Main Duties:



* Build and manage the local day to day relationship with customers to ensure services are delivered to agreed standards.
* Act as the 'single point of contact' for allocated buildings, managing escalations from customers, suppliers and colleagues to ensure a seamless service delivery.
* Actively monitor and manage the performance of contracted services to ensure service delivery is effective
* Manages the local delivery of services to agreed standards
* Implement effective maintenance plans, deploying contractors, equipment, systems and materials
* Monitor Safety performance of work activities under their control, and take appropriate and timely action to control risks, escalate issues as required and promote positive safety behaviours to all stakeholders
* Responsible for authorising expenditure against an allocated and agreed budget.

Experience:



* Experience within a Facilities Management role is essential, with an understanding of delivering an integrated service solution
* Knowledge of relevant business standards, regulations and statutes as well as technical guidance for soft and hard services
* Demonstrable experience of leading delivery teams and outside contractors, managing delivery across multiple sites and services
* Full driving license
