Facilities Manager- 37k- Perm- West End

Are you Looking for a Brand new exciting opportunity in Facilities Management? Would you like to work in one of Londons most Prestigious Buildings?

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to join their busy team located in the West End, The ideal applicant must be prepared to take on all elements of Facilities Management including corporate events and Building Management. You must be prepared to go the extra mile.

Main Duties



* Be a supportive and encouraging line manager. Work with your team to forward plan the work making the best use of time and skills within the team
* Manage meeting rooms are set up / cleared down according to the requirements of events
* Occasionally cover Reception if Required.
* Carry out room set-ups in accordance with the requirements of events, including transporting and storing tables, chairs and other equipment safely
* Assist the setting-up and clearing-down AV/telecommunications equipment in the meeting rooms if required
* Conducting basic AV/telecommunications equipment checks, such as sound quality/connectivity and troubleshooting
* Set up and test the desktop mobile microphone system for round table speaking events
* Oversee Housekeeping team and ensure work is performed in line with SLA's. Do regular checks throughout the day, trouble shooting and solving issues as required
* Regularly liaise with the Events Bookings Coordinator/catering and event hosts to effectively plan future events
* Oversee the mail room management, organise courier services where necessary and handle distribution and storage of deliveries where necessary
* Prepare the monthly internal re-charging services used by departments and the monthly reports
* Be the main point of contact for stationery supplies, ensure good working supplier relationships to secure the best possible price/products. Manage all stock orders, monitor budgets and make efficiencies where possible.
* Provide administration support for the building access card system, inputting details correctly into the system's database, producing and issuing passes
This position is paying up to 37k, 29 days holiday and an excellent pension.
