Facilities Services Manager

Salary £39,000 - £53,200 DOE + Car allowance + 10% Bonus

North West England

A Facilities Services Manager is required to:



* Manage up to 40 buildings across the North West
* Report to the Principle Operations Manager
* Be the customers key contact to ensure all buildings and integrated services are running to a high standard
* Maintain HSE Excellence and ensure that the workplace is safe & secure for all clients and customers
* Deliver continuous service improvement for the environment and customer experience
* Be knowledgeable and implement effective maintenance plans and be knowledgeable on legal requirements and zone guidelines
* Write Property Incident Reports (PIRs)
* Build and manage the local day to day relationship with customers to ensure services are delivered to agreed standards.
* Acts as the 'single point of contact' for their allocated buildings, managing escalations from customers and suppliers and colleagues to ensure a seamless service delivery
* Responsible for a range of policy implementations and service development, in support of the Senior Facilities Service Manager
* Be on-call to manage escalated incidents. See Emergency Preparedness & Response process including deputisation.
* Actively monitor and manage the performance of contracted services to ensure service delivery is effective
* Manage the improvement of service delivery through the implementation of local change programmes
* Effectively manage a team alongside other senior members of the team
* Effectively manage building compliance activity for the building responsible for, ensuring inspections and remedial activity takes place in line with company policies and standards
* Work and be responsible for an allocated budget
* Work well within a team

The ideal candidate:



* Educated to a degree level
* Worked in a Facilities Service Manager role before
* Excellent communication skills
* Be able to speak to a variety or people
* Excellent understanding of Health & Safety
* Experience managing customers and clients
* Car and Full license

The Facilities Services Manger will be required to travel across the North West for a Public Sector organisation.
