job description

We are looking for an experienced field sales professional to sell top notch Education Technology (EdTech) to schools and multi academy trusts across the UK. Our client is a multi award winning as a "best places to work" and "innovation leader" in the EdTech market. You can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you can travel to Lincoln a minimum of 2x per month. Although if you're local to Lincoln -even better! The role will be entirely field based and will require you to have your own vehicle (Car allowance provided!)

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling into public sector clients, Education or have previously sold technology or SaaS on longer sales cycles!

About the job

You'll be joining a team of sales professionals who work on selling directly to schools and multi academy trusts, as well as commercial campaigns with resellers and partners.

As a member of our sales team, your responsibilities will include:

●Demonstrating our software to potential customers
●Working with local authorities and resellers
●Running sales campaigns throughout the country
●Providing support to the Head of Sales and the Chief Commercial Officer
●Representing the company at trade shows and events
●Visiting potential customers on-site
●Generating leads
●Helping to maintain a client CRM system
●General sales research

The person

You will be a motivated team player with excellent relationship building skills. You must have a keen interest in working in a fast paced sales environment and have high ambitions.
A passion for education would be a massive bonus too!

You will also:
●Be motivated by selling and hitting targets
●Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
●Have strong computer skills (experience of using Salesforce beneficial)
●Have strong time management and prioritisation skills
●Have a positive attitude and attention to detail
●Hold a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
