Field Service Coordinator - Derby

The Location

The facility is located in Derby just off the A61. The facility is easily accessible via car and there is an onsite parking.

Your Responsibilities



* Support FCS admin functions within the business
* Coordinate work schedules and process requests for service engineers
* Prepare quotations for service work
* Process engineer's timesheets and dispatch field service engineers
* Support field service activities through proactive communication and coordination
* Collate service costs and raise customer invoices
* Ensure all incoming FCS service enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively in line with work instructions
* Coordinate FCS service activities including Spare Parts, Field Service Engineers and Modernization Projects in a prompt and efficient manner
* Process FCS customer quotation requests and follow-up on open quotations
* Process and oversee customer FCS orders in line with budgets from SAL handover through to final invoicing
* Process FCS Service Engineer & Workshop Engineer timesheets & expenses for invoicing purposes
* Respond to incoming FCS telephone calls, emails or faxes
* Provide information and assistance regarding supply and availability of Spare Parts and Service Engineers
* Support FCS engineer coordination and liaise with Field Service Engineers on site
* Liaise with Centers of Competence (CoC) regarding engineer availability, quotations and orders
* Liaise with customer to ensure successful completion of orders, including communicating updates from CoCs to customers
* Perform general office administration tasks relative to FCS department i.e maintaining service records & reports, filing

The Ideal Candidate



* The job holder will hold the following knowledge and skills
* A good understanding of Customer Service Excellence
* Business administration
* Process flows
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Strong communication skills (remote team)
* SAP knowledge (beneficial)
* Service coordinator experience (beneficial)
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office minimum)
* Ability to analyse and prepare data reports within deadlines & priorities
* Knowledge of German language beneficial

Job Type, Hours and Pay

The role is working on a permanent basis and whilst we are unable to disclose the pay at this stage if you would like to apply we will be more than happy to discuss the competitive salary we are offering for this role.

The role is working 37 hours per week on days.
