job description

A very well established company in Rumney, Cardiff are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team to cover 6 months within the business.

Benefits:

* 6 months guaranteed contract but large sister companies near by, perm opportunities may arise

The role and duties:



* Work closely with Supply Chain and other departments, to resolve any invoice or purchase order queries
* To ensure timely supplier payments
* Ensure all invoices/credit notes are processed in a timely manner to meet required payment run dates
* Raise payments in line with supplier terms, ensuring that supply of product is not delayed by late payment
* Process weekly Sage 50 Payroll
* Resolving any PAYE queries
* Provide assistance to Finance Manager and Finance team with the production of timely and accurate management information and with any general requests for finance related data

Essential Skills/ Experience:



* Minimum of 2 years experience within a Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Administration role
* Ability to process invoices
* Ability to match supplier and customer invoices on system and processing in batches
* Experience of processing all cash and credit card expense claims
* Experience of month end reconciliation
* Experience of performing weekly/ monthly BACS payment runs through Banking software as well as BACS/CHAPS payments as required
* Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
* AAT Qualified or equivalent
* Excel intermediate to advanced

Desirable:



* Able to process weekly wages
* Use of Sage 50 Payroll
