Are you a Finance Administrator / Assistant looking to work on the UK's largest infrastructure project?

Our client one of the main JV's on HS2 as an Exciting contracting opportunity for an experienced account administrator.

You will work under close supervision providing administrative support to the team.

Role Definition:
Summary - Provide accurate and timely account documentation within the timetable of the project accounts
process. Support, assist and process finance operations ensuring sensitivity and confidentiality when
dealing with any queries or issues.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities.

* Maintain good working relations and suppliers and colleagues and conduct ourselves in a highly professional manner when communicating with suppliers and partners at 'all times'
* Capture, analyse and process costs effectively thus producing information and data, quickly, accurately and on time ensuring targets are met.
* Complete invoice scanning
* Manage batch invoicing
* Create, maintain, file and archive finance records
* Assist in supplier accounts maintenance and invoice queries
* Assist in payment run process
* Investigate and answer routine queries arising from customer colleagues and suppliers.
* Manage the upkeep of finance registers and schedules
* Manage statement reconciliations
* Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the projects processes and procedures and ensure that these procedures are upheld and adhered to
* Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure the reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
* Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
* Ensure financial targets and deadlines are met
* Help, assist and support colleagues to the benefit of the wider finance team.
* Any other duties that will ensure the smooth running of the accounts function.


* Educated to GCSE level with grade x or above in Maths and English as a minimum.
* Educated to an accountancy and/or professional qualification preferred but not essential.
* Experience of control account reconciliations
* Experience of procurement process., purchase leger and cost ledger processes.
* Experience of producing excel reports
* IT Literate
