job description

The client are one of the UK's top 10 house builders with a regional office based in Oxfordshire, that specialises in volume traditional build housing.

They are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work in the office reporting into the Finance Manager. Candidates must have at least 3 years experience working in that role and must be based within an hour of Didcot. Due to the level of experience required the client have stated they would be looking to pay up to £20k a year.

Responsibilities

* Weekly payroll: Process weekly timesheets, comply with Working Rule Agreement (i.e. rates, travel and fares)
* Expenses: Process claims and complete PSA return
* Completion Statements preparation
* Create Sales ledger invoices
* Purchase Ledger: Process supplier invoices
* Provide cover for payment runs
* Provide cover for cash book: Process transactions, bank reconciliations and weekly cheque runs
