Are you a Finance Service Manager with experience in financial outsourcing planning services? Are you a numbers and technology enthusiast? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join a growing team and for the right candidate a real opportunity to build the foundations for a career in project management.

* You will play an integral part in the development, management and day to day operations of the financial outsourcing team and the reconciliation of all daily transactions relating to the outsourcing service.
* You will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of all receipts and payments (including refunds receivable and payable).
* The reconciliation to the bank accounts will include online, bank transfers, and cheque receipts. Once reconciled, payments will need to be made on a daily basis to almost 400 payees.
* You will plan and coordinate the teams activities whilst ensuring sound financial governance is duly in place
* Best practice procedures should be employed to enable monitoring and reporting of timely and accurate management information to the Management Team and other stakeholders.
* Responsible for providing financial guidance and support to clients and colleagues
* Coordination of the month end close process for all brands and channels, managing the timetable to ensure all deadlines are met.

About you;

* You will be looking to enter or build upon your career with an industry leader and have an interest in financial management. You will be gaining knowledge and experience in working on industry leading financial outsourcing planning services.
* You will possess excellent administration skills, be highly numerate and will be able to liaise with team members, senior managers.
* Proven track record of working on finance improvement projects
* Previous managerial experience
* Extensive bank reconciliation experience
* Extensive general ledger experience
* Experience of investigating and resolving bank reconciliation issues
* Ability to hit the ground running and assist in service start up
* Ability to influence, develop, and empower service team members to achieve objectives within a team approach.
* Ability to monitor and control budgets for all service team activities.
* Ability to manage a large work load at any one time.
* Proven ability to motivate and lead teams.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Be able to work to strict deadlines and within a team environment

An ideal candidate will also have:

* a 'can do' attitude, consistently delivering to time, quality and cost;
* ability to deliver excellent customer service at all times;
* ACA or CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent) would be advantageous
* Flexibility to travel
