Due to significant expansion and new contract wins throughout 2018 and projected opportunities going into 2019, they are now looking for a commercial finance manager to support their next stage of growth.

You will be a qualified accountant, able to work cross-functionally. Your stakeholders will include; operations, customer service, technical and operations teams, central finance as well as your external customers and suppliers.

The role will focus initially on three key areas; operational improvement & innovation, employee engagement & development and customer relationships & growth.

Working with the operations manager and supported by a local finance team, you'll manage all site financial activities, supporting the client and the business to achieve and exceed key operational performance objectives.

Responsibilities include;



* Compiling weekly flash info for the customer and review site flash compilation.
* Ensure financial controls are robust enough to achieve budgetary requirements.
* Lead weekly finance meetings with the senior team, review flash, commentary and any other ad-hoc requests.
* Prepare budgets and Forecasts for internal and external stakeholders
* Lead the finance team through clear direction and supporting performance to ensure the rights outputs are achieved.
* Monitor and control; purchase ledger, invoices, queries and orders raised/received.
* Ensure effective communication throughout the operation.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with prior management experience.

As the lead accountant, you'll be responsible for coordinating the finance function, supporting both your team and the wider operation.

Being able to show how you effectively communicate the importance KPI's, demonstrating how you've used them to support and improve financial management/performance is essential. This understanding will enable you to proactively challenge and mentor site operational teams.

The successful candidate will be able to manage the above while being approachable, open, fair and consistent with excellent interpersonal skills
