We are currently seeking FLT Operators for a Temp to Perm role at Aggregate Industries. You will be working on a rotational shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for stable, long-term work with the potential to become permanent.
Role - FLT Operative
Location - Aggregate Industries , East Cranmore, Somerset, Shepton Mallet, BA4 4RA
Pay Rate - £14.05ph
Job Type - Full Time, Temp to Perm,
Shift - Rotational Shift, 12 hours in a day, 7 days in a week.
Essential Requirements:
- Willingness to work rotational and previous experience with shift patterns
- B1 forklift license (we can upgrade to a B2 clamp license if necessary)
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Live locally or have reliable transportation to the site
- Basic mechanical maintenance experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate machinery for the movement of materials, meeting productivity and performance targets, including quality, waste management, and customer service.
- Work in an outdoor environment throughout the year
- Ensure maintenance and cleaning tasks align with the planned maintenance schedule.
- Support and engage in continuous improvement initiatives as they arise.
- Operate Counterbalance FLT and perform occasional Warehouse Operative tasks; manual labor is not a primary component of this role.
