Company Overview

A large facilities management company employing over 13,000 people is recruiting a HVAC Manager in the Birmingham to oversee a team of engineers across the Midlands. Working exclusively with a major retail client, your team will deliver a range of planned and reactive maintenance activities across the Midlands regional portfolio. There is also a similar role with the same company in Manchester and the wider North West.

Your Responsibilities

* Drive team standards
* Manage a team that includes commercial gas and air conditioning engineers
* Deliver planned and reactive maintenance activities across a regional portfolio of food retail stores
* Check the quality of all work and sign off on relevant certificates
* Liaise with the client to aid contract delivery
* Produce weekly and monthly spreadsheet reports
* Compose and deliver client presentations
* Work with senior management to share best practice
* Coach and mentor a planned maintenance HVAC team

Your Qualifications & Skills

* Must hold commercial gas certificates
* F Gas is desired but not essential, although general knowledge of air conditioning maintenance is important
* Show competencies for leading an engineering maintenance team
* Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office
* Confident communicator at all levels
* Able to effectively present to clients
* Record of providing the highest levels of customer service
