Company Overview

A multinational Facilities Management company employing over 30,000 people across the UK & Ireland are looking to add a Technical Services Manager to an expanded team on a client site in Manchester. Having recently extended a total FM contract for a further five years, they are looking to add a strong leader who is technically-trained.

Your Package

This role pays a competitive package of £40,000 to £45,000 plus holidays. Please note that there is no car allowance due to this being a static site. Hours are 07:00-15:00 Monday to Friday.

Your Responsibilities

* Report into the Account Manager, and work alongside the Soft Services Manager
* Work closely with the client, who is from a production / manufacturing background within the pharmaceutical industry
* Lead and develop a team of 8 on-site engineers
* Manage compliance and asset management across electrical, mechanical and building fabric
* Manage the fabrication workshop, supplying parts to the production team

Your Skills & Qualifications

* Be time-served in a hard services FM-related discipline (electrical, mechanical HVAC or joinery)
* Strong leadership qualities
* Experience of managing a team of engineers
* Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
* Ability to develop an open and commercially-successful relationship with the client on site
* Experience of leading all maintenance activities
* History of successful M&E asset management processes
* Proven track record of delivering high levels of M&E compliance
