Can you whip up exciting lessons plans? Have you got a passion for food? Can you make a stir in the classroom?

We have an exciting position available in a Colchester School supporting KS2-KS5 pupils through their Food and nutrition curriculum. The school is looking to interview as soon as possible for this role, for a September start.

This position is open to NQTs

Key Responsibilities:



* Plan, implement and monitor schemes of work. In line with the OSG UK curriculum, each lesson plan will indicate clear outcomes and equipment used.
* Ensure the Self-Directed Learning philosophy is present in all opportunities presented to students.
* Develop and fully utilise assignments and tasks centred on the virtual learning environment; including homework, quizzes and discussion forums.
* To set targets, based on prior attainments, and undertake effective, informative marketing to stretch and develop all students.

Requirements:



* QTS / PGCE or equivalent
* Professional experience with food preparation and nutrition
* Good knowledge of the KS3-KS5 curriculum
* A drive to inspire the next generation
