Are you you an experienced Fostering & Adoption Manager? Do you have a passion for providing first class care in
Children's Services? We have an excellent Fostering & Adoption Practice Manager role available in the Preston, Lancashire area.

The Fostering & Adoption service manages the short and long term care arrangements for children across
Lancashire. The service recruits, trains and assesses a diverse range of prospective foster and adoption carers,
carefully matching and placing children with approved carers who can meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

*The Practice Manager post is a first line management role developed to provide supervision, case direction and decisions to a small team of social workers and support workers within various Children's Social Care teams .
*You will be responsible for the allocation of work, QA and the outcomes of work
*You will provide direct supervision to social workers and ensure that practice is of a good quality and meets the needs of children.
*You will be required throughout the county and will be line managed by a team manager.



To be considered for the Practice Manager role you will have:

*BSc Social Work or equivalent
*HCPC registration
*Minimum 2 years experience of supervising or working as an Advanced Practitioner within a Fostering & Adoption team
