Gardener-Area Supervisor - London

Our client is looking for experienced gardeners with driving and supervisory experience to maintain various parks and open spaces in the Borough.
Responsibilities are:To carry out general grounds maintenance in all areas of the parks to achieve high standards of horticulture and presentation. These tasks will include overseeing pruning, planting, hoeing, mowing, edging etc.To liaise and ensure all sheets are submitted on delivery of daily/weekly work programs.Operate and maintain machinery, vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient mannerTo direct team members, ensuring all targets are met appropriately and efficientlyTo provide satisfactory standards of work at all times whilst adhering to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
To deliver that you must be able to demonstrate:Ability to drive parks vehicles(including trailers if required)Positive attitude in all work situationsAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to operate parks related machineryMobility across the BoroughAbility to work outdoors and in all weathers to ensure ongoing service deliveryWillingness to wear uniform and protective clothingWillingness to work where chemicals have been used.
Benefits:Temporary on-going position£17.35 - £22.65 per hour + holiday payIn-house induction and trainingWorking with experienced gardeners.
