£55,000 - £60,000 plus Quarterly & Annual Bonuses
A well established logistics company in Manchester is looking to hire a General Manager. The position is a Monday- Friday role 37.5 hours and comes with an incredible bonus package which can result in taking home up to 60% of your salary in extra bonuses.
The main roles and requirements are:
Plan, agree, deliver, and monitor EBITDA targets, cash flow and budgets
Organise and control the effective supervision of all key activities within the depot against the targets set
Regularly report on results, agree and ensure remediable action where required - Appraise train and develop staff both directly and through line managers
Ensure through the operations manager that the site operates within company policy and legal requirements at all times
Ensure that the depot operates within the stated company quality assurance procedures
Ensure the regular monitoring and delivery of customer service targets
Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate line managers from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holder's skills and ability.
Comply and promote all statutory and company safety policies and instigate work practices, which results in a safe and healthy workplace
This role will be reporting directly into the Regional Manager and will require you to manage Customers, Suppliers, Board Members, Senior Managers, Other Depot Staff, Auditors and Inspectors so people management experience is a must.
