General Services Manager | Sodexo | £40k

About the Client

Sodexo are a multinational facilities management company with over 35,000 employees servicing over 2000 clients across the UK and Ireland.

About the Role

This General Services Manager role presents a fantastic opportunity for a technically-biased facilities management professional with ambitious career aspirations. The General Services Manager role has developed since the contract inception to include two technical maintenance engineers, a number which is expected to double over the next 12 months.

In addition to managing the technical M&E maintenance team, the General Services Manager will look after one cleaning supervisor, six cleaners, one chef and three food service assistants.

Sodexo enjoys a good relationship with the client - BAE Systems (Washington) - which is going from strength-to-strength.

About You

You will come from a mechanical or electrical maintenance background and have previous managerial experience. You will be able to demonstrate that you are commercially aware and financially astute. You will Have experience of managing technical maintenance engineers, and have a proven track record in managing a blue chip client. Ideally, you will have static site experience, but this is not essential. You will be either mechanically- or electrically-qualified.

About the Package

A competitive salary of £40,000 is included with this role. Holidays and other benefits will be discussed at a later stage. This role offers excellent career progression if desired. There is no vehicle included as this role is single site.
