Graduate Business Development Executive 

Location: Pocklington, York 
Salary: £18,000 basic, £30K OTE 
REF: J2008:LEE
Sector: IT/ Technology 

Our client, an established technological business solutions company, is looking for highly driven Graduate Sales Executives ready to take charge of their career.

Graduate Sales Executive – the package:

You will spend the first 6 months internally based, surrounded by a supportive team. Experiencing a variety of work on a day-to-day basis, you’ll learn about the company, the marketplace, and the products as well as being responsible for the front end of the sales cycle. After you have a good grasp of the industry knowledge necessary and possess the relevant sales skills, based on your performance, you will be progressed out into the field – managing your own clients!

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively generate your own database of potential clients.
  • Liaise with existing clients, maintaining and developing business rapport
  • Build initial relationships with key decision makers and booking appointments with them
  • Continue developing relationships with new and existing clients 
  • Attend and influence your own meetings, appointments and networking events 
  • Create, manage and close profitable business deals 
  • Cross/up-selling to existing clients based on business needs
  • Support any sales or marketing campaigns 
Requirements: 
  • Educated to degree level 
  • Full UK Driving Licence (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and IT literate
  • Flexible, and strong team ethic
