Job Title: Graduate Field Sales Executive
Location: Southampton (Field based)
Salary: £25k (up to £40k OTE)
REF: J2447:SOU

Our client is one of the largest construction equipment rental providers and distributors in the UK. They’re known for their technical expertise, broad range of products and commitment to safe working practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven graduate in a technical or engineering subject to join a well-established organization in this Graduate Field Sales Executive position. You’ll be client facing from day one, working alongside a senior sales executive – you’ll ideally be a quick learner, ready and eager to take on board the practical skills that are on offer in this role.

The role centers on growing key business areas and spotting new opportunities, and managing existing accounts through client facing meetings. You will be professionally trained, with a focus on building industry & product knowledge along the way, in addition to receiving market leading training from Pareto in selling and negotiating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing a strategy in order to effectively grow business reach in key areas
  • Identifying prospects for client services, getting in touch and communicating the value of those services – strengthening your professional network
  • Maintaining your commercial awareness, and keeping on top of any industry/project developments, competitor services or changes to regulation
  • Communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences in order to establish client needs
  • Responding to customer inquiries promptly, building relationships and finding opportunities to maximise account value (through upselling, cross-selling and building loyalty)

You'll be:
  • Educated to degree level (in an engineering subject)
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (this is a field based role that requires travel)
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
