Graduate Sales Executive

Location: Petersfield
Salary: £25,000 (£35K OTE)
Sector: Engineering

Our client is a family owned business that has been in existence for close to century. As a national manufacturing institution, they’re looking for ambitious graduate sales executives to help enhance the companies reach further.

The Graduate Sales Executive will, in their on-boarding process, learn about the company’s product range as part of the front end of the sales cycle. You’ll involve yourself in estimates, support tenders and proposals and engage with incoming enquiries from clients.

Once you have a thorough knowledge of the business and its place in the market, you’ll then progress into an external role in the field. The successful candidate will employ a consultative, customer centric approach when dealing with customers.

The Role:
  • During your first 9 months obtain a firm grasp of the company and deal with incoming customer enquiries
  • Support tenders and the design stage of the sale creatively
  • Once you have a thorough grounding in the business develop rapport and relationships with clients in the field, in order to secure their business
  • Follow up of quotations within the express works team.
  • Co-ordination of social media action plan with help from the marketing team and other research based projects requested
  • Maintain contact and liaise regularly with architects and contractors in order to expand the sales base of the company
