job description

We are looking for University Graduates with a minimum of 6+ months of commercial, offices based sales experience to join a market leading in business intelligence, content and media technology.

The role:

* Generation of new business across business media and content platforms (SaaS, Subscription as a Service)
* Lead generation using both internal and external research resources - warm leads also provided
* Implementation of sales plans and employing consultative sales techniques
* Progression of Leads, warming up prospects and closing business with the support of senior sales leaders
* Updating our group CRM to ensure the CRM accurately reflects your sales activity at all times
*Ensuring your clients have signed contracts and orders are processed in line with the compliance criteria
* Maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues and clients


Educated to degree level or equivalent
* 6 months minimum of selling B2B new business deals in a telephone-based role
* Good track record of sales performance
* Good rapport building skills with new business prospects and existing clients
* Good negotiation skills
* Strong verbal and written skills
* IT knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Self-motivated and driven
* Aptitude for working to targets and deadlines
* Career minded - looking to develop a sales career
