Job Title: Graduate Technical Sales Engineer
Salary: £24-26k per annum
REF: J2480:WM

Our client are a leading distribution group that support engineers and purchasing professionals around the world. They distribute a range of products including components and industrial products from some of the world’s most prominent manufacturing groups.

They’re looking for ambitious Graduate Technical Sales Engineers with a background in mechanical engineering to act on their behalf around the UK. In this role you’ll be charged with qualifying business opportunities within your assigned territory, and have an interest in the market for future design and development projects.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Increasing product awareness, exceeding profit objectives across all markets
  • Assisting in assessment of client technical requirements
  • Leading the development of target accounts in specific territories to create value and drive revenue
  • Partnering with internal and external sales teams to drive your strategy
  • Identifying opportunities in target customers, and maintaining partnerships with sales departments
  • Regular planning of markets and accounts, as well as performance analysis of existing plans
  • Empowering sales teams to work with the specialists to set up demo opportunities for viable customer base
