Graduate Web Developer

Location: Bracknell
Salary: £30,000
REF: J2521:M4

Our client specialises in research and development of communications technology. They’re rapidly expanding their presence across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

They’re looking to bring on board Graduate Web Developers to join a fast-paced, dynamic team that is responsible for developing and maintaining the client‘s web frontends. The role holder will become a critical component of the business unit for building a huge range of secure, flexible applications on web-based portals which are used by some of the world’s largest organisations in vital communication services.

  • Implement designs using modern web development practices to ensure the continued development for the company’s wide range of international clients
  • Work alongside other Applications Engineers to design the product concept and advise how it can be implemented technically within the constraints
  • Manage daily activities of software projects by tracking and analysing progress and collaborating with Project Managers when necessary
  • Offer expert client support efficiently when required, to ensure that the company’s high levels of customer service and solution delivery are upheld
  • Co-operate closely with test engineers to ensure that the high reliability underpinning the company’s success is maintained
  • Offer technical input during the tendering phase of projects
  • Apply, promote and continuously improve best practices and standards to continue and enhance the company’s excellent international reputation.
The Graduate Web Developer will collaborate across departments to continually improve web capabilities of applications and ensure applications are running at maximum efficiency on the web portals. This client has founded their company on the belief that combining hardworking and intelligent employees with the provision of a quality product is fundamental to success.

Required experience and skills:
  • A strong educational background (2.1 and above), from a Russell Group or top 30 university
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Coding experience required, however in any language
  • Passion for technology and coding
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
  • Be well organised with excellent attention to detail
  • £30,000 salary per annum
