Role: Head of Business Development J1017

Location: Bolton/field sales

Salary: up to £50k basic plus commission and benefits

Training and Development are important, but Recruitment and Selection are much more important.

The Role - Head of Business Development
Reporting into the CEO you will be creating and applying an effective sales strategy to win new clients through business development which will support business growth. Additionally you will be influencing and establishing positive organisation culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
• Identifying potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisation
• Planning approaches and pitches - work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
• Developing entry level staff into valuable salespeople
• Allocating tasks to team members
• Ensuring the performance of the staff is of a high standard
• Carrying out performance reviews
• Identifying areas for new training or skill checks

Required skills:
• Proven working experience as a business development manager
• Proven sales track record
• Ability to coach, mentor and performance manage a small Sales team
• Be IT literate, including MS Office products and CRM system
• Have an ethical and professional approach to representing the business always.
• Excellent social media selling skills - LinkedIn etc.
