I am looking for a Head of Languages to work at a top school in Harlow on a permanent basis. There are other permanent roles available at various locations across Essex.

Responsibilities



* Managing and liaising with other Heads of Department and teachers in your department
* See that the MFL department continues to succeed and improve
* Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
* Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
* Having control over your classrooms and maintaining discipline
* Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
* Liaising with fellow colleagues and parents to get the most out of your pupils' development

Requirements



* Head of Department experience is a must - we need you to hit the ground running
* Successful and proven track record
* A genuine love for teaching and Languages
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
* Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
* Experience working with KS3/4 pupils
* A drive to inspire the next generation
