Head of Maths

Required: August 2019

Location: Hong Kong

Region: Far East and South East Asia

Curriculum: UK Curriculum

Experience: 4+ years post qualification experience;

Sponsorship: Single teachers, teaching couples (if there is more than one post), married teachers with or without dependents

Salary: Excellent, up to £45,000 per annum and rising based on experience plus benefits

Contract: 2 years renewable

Requirements: You should be a qualified teacher with a minimum of four years post qualifying experience ideally with previous leadership experience. In this school this role is known as "Learning Programme Leader". IB curriculum experience is highly desirable but the school will consider excellent teachers of Maths who do not have this curriculum experience if they have strong departmental leadership experience. You should have an inquiry based approach to your teaching and an ability to work well within a variety of cultures. You need to be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life!

Experience with open plan learning/flexible teaching and learning spaces is desirable.

Package: Salary up to £45,000 minimum per annum upwards depending on qualifications and experience (plus responsibility stipend); flights, housing allowance, medical cover, annual PD budget and Tuition for up to 2 dependents.
