You will be responsible for both teaching and working with other teachers to raise standards, ensuring MFL (French) is taught at the highest level so that even the brightest children are challenged.

The successful candidate will join a team of hard-working and dedicated colleagues. The school has a positive working environment with well-motivated pupils and supportive parents who strive to uphold a culture where everyone is valued.

This is a full-time position starting in September 2019.

* Competitive terms and conditions of employment
* The opportunity to be part of a thriving faculty that achieves excellent results
* A network of fellow senior leaders and principals with a wealth of knowledge and expertise

The ideal candidate will:

* Have a QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
* Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
* Have evidence of leading, supporting and managing others
* Have demonstrable experience of embedding cross-curricular subjects

You will be expected to:

* Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject area
* Ensure that all school policies and procedures are implemented and applied consistently by all staff in the subject area
* Have the highest ambitions for your pupils, the department, the school and yourself
* Have a track record of successful tuition, with proof of having delivered results
