Responsibilities of the job include:Providing excellent support for young adults with EBD and learning difficultiesBuilding relationships with service users and their familiesFollowing care plans to help service users reach their goalsSupport with day to day living, personal care includedSupport service users on days out and activities
Ideal candidate would:Have worked in a challenging behaviour setting beforeWilling to perform personal care tasksHave Autism experienceHave physical intervention experienceBe enthusiastic and willing to learnBe able to deal with challenging behaviourHave minimum experience of 6 months working in a residential settingNVQ level 2 in Health and social care or above would be an advantage (not essential)Be fully flexible throughout the week
