job description

A client focused principle contractor is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their successful and growing business. The role is based in Glasgow and offers the opportunity to work on some industry leading new build projects across the country.

The role will involve:



* Working with project teams to ensure a high standard of health and safety performance is delivered across the project.
* Offering competent and constructive health and safety advice to project teams.
* Assisting in the design and development of the health and safety strategy.
* Conducting site based activities such as audits and inspections etc.
* Carrying out incident / near-miss investigations when required.
* Carrying out risk assessments and writing method statements.
* Being a proactive health and safety influence.
* Liaising with various contractors on site, the project delivery team and the client on all health and safety related matters.

If you would like to be considered for this role and you have gained Health & Safety experience working for either a main building contractor or fit out constractor then please apply. You will hold a relevant H&S qualification and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
