Randstad CPE currently have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor to get involved with a well known main contractor on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Inverness and cover sites in the North of Scotland.

The tasks of the HSE advisor will include but not limited to:

* Monitor, support and enforce, where necessary, the correct implementation of Group Health & Safety Policy across the Business;
* Assist the Group H,S & E Manager to provide support to the Business during their pre-planning activities and working up of site specific Health & Safety Plans;
* Assist the Group H,S & E Manager with initial subcontractor prequalification and then subsequent assessment and monitoring of site specific SSoW and associated RAMS;
* Provide Health & Safety assistance and advice to the Business with the objective being to meet build targets safely;
* Assist the Group H,S & E Manager with the production of monthly performance reports on behalf of the Group;
* Carry out dynamic work place inspections, providing corrective advice & guidance where necessary
* Monitor and report on our specialist subcontractor's Health and Safety compliance;
* Assist the Group H,S & E Manager with internal Health and Safety Management reviews;
* The role will include travel throughout the Scottish Businesses' operating area and at times to other operating areas of the Business - must be flexible in terms of travel Obtain competency cards in line with company Competence Card Compliance policy, e.g. CSCS / CCNSG.

To be successful in an application the candidates will need to demonstrate that they possess the following skills, attributes and experiences:
* Previous experience as an HSE Advisor
* Construction experience.
* NEBOSH qualification
