Are you currently looking for your next big opportunity as a construction Health, safety and Environmental advisor?

Well look no further, as I am currently recruiting for one of the UK's leading housing associations.

This upcoming high profile project, located in East London, would be an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that has the largest and most ambitious residential development programme in the sector. From partnerships with small housing associations and SMEs to the creation of whole new towns, this is a truly unique opportunity.

The desired HS&E advisor would need to demonstrate:



* Clear understanding of construction terminology and processes.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Computer literate with a good proven competency in MS Office.
* Proven experience within the construction environment.
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate

Responsibilities for this role include:



* Monitoring all activities in terms of compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and conformity / alignment Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
* Assisting the Principal Advisor in the delivery of suitable induction, training and any necessary
personal protective equipment.
* Undertaking regular health and safety audits of the construction activities on the project as directed by the Principal Advisor
* Assisting the Principal Advisor to carry out accident and near miss investigations and produce accident reports that identify immediate cause, and identify recommendations / actions to prevent re-occurrence.
* Reviewing Designer, Contractor and Suppliers health and safety questionnaires and
engage with them where an Action Plan for improvement is required.
* Monitoring Plot Developers and Contractors management of waste on site.
* Assisting in the preparation, monitoring (including audits) and reporting of the
environmental procedures and the investigation of any environmental incidents.
* Assisting in the preparation, monitoring and reporting of the health and safety and environmental procedures.

Construction Health and Safety experience is essential and applicants must hold a valid CSCS Card.
