This high-profile organisation based in Exeter has an urgent requirement for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team as soon as possible. This role is anticipated to last between 6 and 24 months and would suit an accomplished HR Advisor with recent experience in payroll and expenses.

As the HR Advisor, you will provide an operational advisory service to the business in payroll and expenses, through 3rd party providers, to enable the business to manage its people and related services effectively. This will involve providing information and communications to support and engage on the compliant delivery of payroll and expenses, relocation and overseas working, through effective and engaging partnering with managers and other key stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include;



* Providing clear, timely & professional advice to the business in payroll and expenses (taxation, pay, allowances, bonus, business travel, benefit in kind, UK relocation/overseas working).
* Translating knowledge and experience into practical, value adding advice, setting out options and recommendations, tailored to suit the business area way of working.
* Advising on HR systems to maintain payroll and expense records, providing metrics and analysis to enable insight into activity and service levels

You will be an experienced HR Advisor holding a professional HR qualification or prior experience working with an HR function to CIPD Level 3 as well as Payroll CIPP Level or AAT NVQ 4. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing payroll and expenses systems and processes. You will be able to develop a culture of proactive service excellence underpinned by strong team working and communication skills. Demonstrating advanced numerate and Excel skills including writing complex formulae and pivot tables, you will have a track record of effective change management activities by building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as the ability to evaluate data and information to ensure timely and compliant ongoing service quality to legal requirements. A proven track record of dealing with confidential information and a demonstrable understanding of GDPR are essential for this role.
