A great opportunity has arisen for a qualified dynamic HR professional with a passion and talent for enabling colleagues to be the best they can be. This role could develop your career further as part of a growing nationwide business, working from the fabulous support office located in the heart of Llandudno, North Wales.

What will this role of HR & Training Advisor entail?

Working in a small but well-regarded HR team of professionals, you'll report into the HR Business Partner. As the HR & Training Advisor, you'll be given a client group made up of specialist professional teams within our Support Office ranging from Finance, Marketing and IT and also our Contact Centre team. You'll also work closely with our Head of Learning and Development to create and design a suite of blended learning materials. You'll be flexible and relish travelling across the UK delivering training in both stores and in our training facility in Birmingham.

As the HR & Training Advisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:



* Coaching and supporting leaders on performance management, recruitment and absence management
* Delivering a great induction for all colleagues both in support office and stores across the UK, on-boarding them in the best way to make a difference in their roles
* Identifying career pathways and building blended learning plans to support each colleague grow and fulfil their potential
* Creating e-learning training that covers everything from coaching skills to H&S
* Providing information, support and advice to all colleagues increasing engagement

What will I need to be considered for this HR & Training Advisor vacancy?



* Ideally, you'll be CIPD qualified and will have probably graduated in the last 3-5 years, and currently working in a HR advisory role
* Have a track record in coaching leaders on performance management, recruitment and absence management
* Be familiar with Microsoft products with ideally e-learning authoring tools like Flashpoint
* Superb administration and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail
* Have that rare combination of commercialism mixed with structure and best practice
* Enthusiastic, hardworking and focused, with the ability to work well as part of a team of HR professionals
* Have a clean driving licence and be comfortable driving across the UK

Due to the nature of the business successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Check.

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 level dependent on experience, plus an annual bonus scheme

Attractive Benefits: Up to 18% annual bonus, Boots discount card (after 6 months probationary period), pension scheme, life assurance cover, health cash plan, long service awards, and annual leave entitlement starting at 20 days rising with length of service increments to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays.

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time 37.5 hours per week within Monday to Friday. Flexibility with working hours is essential as this role will require frequent travelling and staying away occasionally.
