HR Assistant

A large residential developer who have multiple projects they are working on around the UK are looking for a HR assistant to be based in Waltham Abbey.

Note: This role will require you to have Construction industry experience and knowledge of recruiting for various roles such as: Surveyors, site managers, site admin, technical coordinators etc….

The successful applicant will be willing to push the boundaries and be comfortable and thrive in a fast paced challenging environment. They will be commercially driven with an aptitude to deliver accurate and timely results through creative and innovative solutions. The main purpose of this newly created role is to provide a consistently high quality HR resourcing service in line with business objectives at all times, with a key focus on recruitment and retention

Responsibilities:



* Provide a high quality end to end resourcing support, tailored to the various business/regional requirements
* Help the business source, recruit and retain the best talent in the market
* Recruit across the organisation from entry level to senior positions
* Support the Group Head of HR in delivering the Recruitment and Retention Strategy on a day to day basis
* Be a Super-user for the Candidate Management Portal and give advice and guidance to hiring managers
* Deliver useful and timely Management Information/Reporting;
* Manpower plans
* Staff Turnover
* Input to quarterly board reports & KPIs
* Maintain a wide network of external contacts in the Construction market
* Work closely with the agencies on our Preferred Supplier List to ensure that we maintain a pipeline of talent

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is likely to be degree calibre with full CIPD qualification and/or working towards achieving this, plus full membership of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals.

We are looking for a self-starter used to working in a small team, but can demonstrate a proven ability to leverage a wide variety of routes to market to attract high calibre applicants to Hill.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced recruiter (Construction experience) - you will be able to work under your own initiative and have a flexible approach. Strong stakeholder engagement is a necessity for this opportunity.

An excellent communicator with the ability to work accurately and concisely. You will have strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel. A working knowledge of HR recruitment systems would also be beneficial.
