We are looking for a self-starting and organised HR Coordinator to join a growing SME business based in Solihull on a part-time basis.
Role
- Salary £25k-£28K 25-30 hours pro rata
- 25 days holiday + BH
- 9.30 AM - 14:30 AM Flexible with hours over 4-5 days
- Will support with CIPD for the right candidate after probationary period
- Life insurance (after a qualifying period)

- Hybrid working - 1 day a week at home (office presence required 4 days a week)
Daily Responsibilities;
- Being the site contact for all employment matters
- Recruitment and all associated administration and compliance
- Manage time and attendance, and ensure all matters are dealt with professionally, fairly and consistently
- Ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date
- Employee welfare and engagement
- Maintaining personnel records, PeopleHR system and ensuring all policies and processes are kept in line with legislation
- Undertaking the complete starter process; issuing offer letters, contracts and starter packs, RTW and DBS checks and starter notification forms.
- Coordinating induction training.
- Coordinating the probation review process for all new starters
- As we are a small company so the role will range from all aspects of HR administration to involvement in strategic HR projects
- Ensure sickness absence records on the HR database are accurate and up to date.
- Be the first point of contact to deal with holiday and sickness absence queries.
- Chasing up RTWI's with Line Managers.
About you?
- HR Administrator/Coordinator experience in a small team / stand alone role
- Able to work discreetly and sensitively in a smaller organisation
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
