Are you a competent and personable HR Manager with extensive experience within financial services. Do you have experience across the full generalist HR remit with solid operational experience. Are you a good communicator who can build successful relationships?

If this sounds like you please get in touch. I am currently working with an Asset Management client to recruit a senior HR professional on a 12 month contract. The successful candidate will report to the COO and manage a small HR team.

Responsibilities will include leading and managing the delivery of a comprehensive and responsive HR service to the business and providing advice and support to the directors and managers on people management issues and the full range of technical HR matters.



* Work with the COO, CEO and Executive Chairman on a wide range of people issues to develop effective solutions
* Lead, develop and maintain robust HR policies and practices that support the effective management of the business
* Lead, develop and mentor HR staff to deliver a high quality, responsive service to the business
* Represent the HR function in client facing activities
* Work with the senior leadership team in planning for and delivering the annual salary review and bonus processes including ensuring that all awards are efficiently administered both in the London and US offices
* Review and approve the monthly UK payroll and benefits within the required timelines
* Manage the external US payroll consultant and the Senior HR Advisor to ensure the effective operation of the US payroll and benefit administration
* Advise and lead on case management across the business and support line management with the effective management of absence and manage any PHI claims
* Provide oversight and advice on resourcing activity as necessary including recruitment strategy, review of adverts, agency T&C's and job descriptions, visa matters, relocation and tax related matters

This position would suit an experienced HR professional ideally with experience working within asset management, who is comfortable with operational HR responsibilities. The contract is offered for 12 months with the chance to extend.
