I am looking for a HSE Advisor initially for 2 months: this role is to assist with the updating of the sites policies since the restructure of the business, in light of it now being more of a Tech centre than a production/shop environment.

You must have:

- HSE Experience and Knowledge from a previous HSE role
- Strong PC skills; as this will involve updating/writing the site policies
- Self motivated as they will be given this task to manage alone

Main Purpose:

* The Advisor will work within the HSE Department reporting to the HSE Maintenance & Facilities Leader
* To assist the onsite HSE team in update the site health, safety and environment documentation reviews and updates * To support other HSE functions as necessary across the site

Key Responsibilities.

* Assist with the identification and implementation of control plans from hazards which exist at the site
* Keep up to date with current legislations
* Drive site Health and Safety initiatives, promoting a proactive risk reduction approach
* Participate in an effective Risk assessment system to evaluate all current and new business risks and reduce existing one's
* Work within the Health and Safety Management System (Using 18,001 Standards)
* Undertake any reasonable management requests
* To Work within current HSE legislation, published standards, codes and the company's health and safety and environmental policies, procedures and rules.
* Be an active team player and be able to work within a larger team structure.
* Make judgements and work on own initiative within a agreed guidelines of work instructions and quality standards.
* Be active in assisting the working area in maintaining a safe, clean, effective working area as defined under 5S
* Be supportive by sharing knowledge with colleagues in support of achieving best practice.
* Working with the company's policies, procedures, instructions and quality systems
* Ability to communicate with teams to gather information as and when required.


* Good PC skills
* Knowledge and experience of working to HSE management systems, including the ability to produce Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, Procedures and control measures as appropriate
* Self-Motivated and able to communicate at all levels.


* IOSH & NEBOSH General Certificate with on job experience
