Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a HV Authorised Person to work on a long term contract with a leading Tier 1 Contractor! The role is expected to continue long term and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Roles and Responsibilities:



* Carry out duties as a HV Authorised Person
* Prepare, Issue and Cancel Safety Documents
* Carry out switching, isolations and earthing
* Prepare switching schedules
* Carry out periodic inspections oh HV Substations to ensure compliance
* Assist in Maintenance and installation of Electrical Systems
* Complete training as required by the client to achieve AP status
* Implement the relevant requirements of Safety, Quality, Environmental and Operational within the areas of responsibility.
* Conduct recorded weekly Safety Tours of the Works ensuring compliance with client procedures, policies and safety rules
* Supervise works where necessary
* Be available to part of a call out rota
* Ad hoc duties as and when required by the TOM Manager.

Candidate Requirements:



* Technical Electrical Qualification (2360, 2330, ONC or equivalent)
* Previous railway experience
* Previously acted as an AP
* Electrical installation experience
* Strong communication skills
