Are you an experienced HVAC Engineer looking to further your career? Do you hold the necessary qualifications?

My client is the leading facility mainteance company in the country and are looking to recruit a HVAC Engineer to join their maintenance team based on a static site in Reading. The organisation has experienced strong year on year growth over the last decade and offer great opportunities for career progression and further training. You will be recruited to support the operation with planned and unplanned reactive maintenance in addition to more general maintenance tasks. Knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, air & water chillers and industry practices is essential.

* The day to day duties include undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance
* Typical duties will include service and maintenance on HVAC equipment and associated BMS controls
* Carry out minor repairs and identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings.
* To prioritise maintenance and repair work to agreed time-scales
* Regular checks to ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
* Liaise with management regarding any health & safety issues, ongoing repairs, maintenance and building projects
* You will be responsible for the 1 in 5 call out rota

To be successful in this role, my client are keen to meet with individuals with the following:

* Qualifications include City and Guilds Level 2/3 Diploma in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, F-Gas C&G 2079, Heat Pumps, 17th Edition Wiring
* The ideal candidate will have general experience in HVAC service and maintenance
* Knowledge of working with chillers, heat pumps and electrical installation experience will be an advantage
* The ideal candidate will be IT literate and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team, produce job site reports, liaise with customers and have an understanding of safe working practices.
* Proven track record in Commercial Building Maintenance with References
* Able to gain CT security clearance
* Full driving licence
