Are you an experienced income officer? Looking for your next fixed term contract within the Filton area?

Our client, a provider of social housing is looking for an experienced income officer to join their team, the successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with the rent arrears recovery process for tenants and follow all necessary allocations policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:



* Monitor the rent accounts across a wide geographic area, taking appropriate action to reduce the debt owed to the association.
* Provide basic welfare benefit and money advice to tenants
* Liaise with different departments when required
* Interview tenants with regard to rent account issues, over the telephone or in the tenants homes
* Achieve set targets in arrears reduction on a defined patch of properties
* Ensure accurate records are kept of arrear actions

Requirements:



* Previous experience with dealing with rent arrears
* Experience within a similar role
