job description

Randstad CPE are looking for a Production Operative reporting to the Shift Team Manager, you will be responsible for a range of manufacturing operations. You will play a vital part in ensuring that production volumes are met and that the quality standards are adhered to. This position is on the Burton-On-Trent site.


Your key duties as a Production Operative will include:



* Operation of the plant and equipment in an automated manufacturing facility(Rumbler Machine)
* Pallet loading
* Work as part of the team to achieve the budgeted outputs and product quality standards
* Identify and implement improvements to operational equipment
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and a hazard-free workplace
* Will need ORANGE PPE


Previous experience is desirable however we are also looking for employees who are willing to learn new skills as you will receive full training. You will be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills, be able to work as part of a small team and willing to learn. Along with a strong focus on health, safety, and quality, you will have good communication and team-working skills.

Will require to under go an oral drugs and alcohol test within 2 weeks of start date,


We operate a weekly rotating shift work pattern (06:00 - 14:30, 14:00 - 00:00)
