Internal Account Coordinator


Salary up to £25,000

Our leading Builder Merchant's client has an exciting position for an Internal Account Coordinator to join a very successful team in Christchurch.

Your duties will be:

* You will be responsible for all things sales related, working with the other internal staff, to help create a proactive and sales orientated culture.
* You will provide support to the external sales representative, raising quotes & orders
* providing back-up support while they are out on the road.
* Sourcing non-standard products and negotiating prices.
* Responding to a wide range of queries from customers (both trade and retail).
* Helping in all areas of the branch operation as necessary
* Upsell to customers when required
* Making sure customer's are more than happy
* Retaining business

If you are interested in joining their team you first must:

* Sound knowledge of building materials, both heavy and light side.
* Ideally - worked in a builder's merchant previously.
* You will need to be confident, and sales focused, be adept at decision making
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in sales is essential.
* Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
* Working knowledge of MS Office.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as working within a team
* Plan and organise workload to meet strict deadlines
* Ability to remain calm, confident and response logically in difficult situations
