IT Procurement Specialist - 6 month FTC

IT Procurement Specialist is required by leading not for profit business, currently entering into a major investment programme to expand their service offering. The ideal candidate will be MCIPS qualified with demonstrable IT category management experience of large value contracts in both the public and private sectors.

Key Duties will include:



* Advise on the development of contractual arrangements and competitive procedures, ensuring alignment with Procurement Legislation
* Experience of working across multiple IT disciplines, Hardware, Applications, SAAS, Telecoms, Managed Services and Professional Services
* Data Analysis on purchase to pay systems
* Implementation of Procurement Strategy, ensuring it meets business objectives
* Identifying significant opportunities to reduce costs, reduce operational and commercial risks
* Take an active role in leading development of innovative procurement strategies against defined commodity areas assigned
* Ensure that contracts within your area of responsibility deliver full life value for money
* Provide advice and guidance relating to procurement regulations to the wider organisation
