Cosma Casting UK is an operating unit of Magna International, one of the world's premier global automotive suppliers. Magna's pioneering technology and creativity allows our customers to ask for solutions that lie beyond what they previously thought was possible.

Cosma Casting UK have established a manufacturing facility on a green field site in Telford in the UK. For this new venture, we are looking for an IT Systems Administrator. Cosma Casting UK will specialise in high pressure die-casting that designs and builds medium to large aluminium die-cast automotive components.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the IT Manager the IT Systems Administrator will provide support to both business neutral IT and operational IT on a day to day basis. The role will support all current and future IT projects identifying and introducing efficiencies through the use of technology.

Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Ensuring that IT maintenance work and troubleshooting is carried out to a high standard and complies with all corporate, group and divisional.

- Coordination of inventory and procurement management as it relates to the IT estate and the requirement of users.

- Confident representation of the site and IT Team in local, regional and global meetings

- Proven ability to support an IT environment across infrastructure and applications, including management of 3rd parties.

- Knowledge of reporting packages such as Crystal Reports (or similar BI), including specification/design/deployment of business and operational reports and extraction of data.

- An ability to troubleshoot support issues effectively i.e. perform root cause analysis

- Create and update documentation in relation to the IT landscape and any associated processes.

- Communicate effectively with users at all levels with the organisation

- Participate in high level discussions with the senior leadership team on IT matters

- Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications and experience

- Coordinate with divisional, group and corporate colleagues to implement global IT changes

Requirements :



- Strong background with common platforms, services and applications including: MS Server 2008, 2012, SQL Server 2008, SSRS,
Windows (desktop) V7, V8/8.1,V10, Office 2013, 365, Apple/iOS, Previous

- Knowledgeable and considered an expert in LAN/WAN and wireless

- Experience in IT infrastructure, including comfort with data cabling and other fundamental aspects infrastructure

- Understanding of VOIP/SIP and mobile technologies

- Experience in procurement, inventory and asset management of IT equipment as well as the overall IT lifecycle

- Strong analytical skills

- Experience in working in a fast paced production environment with a focus on internal and external stakeholder interaction

- Experience in producing departmental related documents

- Strong communication skills at all levels within the business and with customers

- Able to manage and prioritise numerous projects simultaneously

- Experience in Administering VOIP /NETAPP technology systems

- Appliances administration

- Previous experience in help desk/technical support environment

- ITL and Prince 2 certifications

- TCP/IP Protocol Stack and DNS, DHCP & A/D

- Relevant management experience in an manufacturing or logistics environment
