Are you an I.T graduate? Are you looking to get in to an entry level role with little to no experience but good knowledge. Are you avaliable to start ASAP?

A leading supplier of products based in Cannock is looking for an IT Support Tecnician for their busy distribition centre.

Reporting to the IT & Communications Manager, the main responsibilities will be:

* Maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations, peripherals and associated software within the business.
* Being one of the main point of contact for employee's who are experiencing computer issues.
* Assisting personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
* Daily operations and systems support providing regular progress reports to the IT & Communications Manager.
* Troubleshooting and resolving IT problems in person and remotely or via telephone and be able to verify functionality of hardware and software components.
* Keeping records of IT compliance with auditing and distribution management of available software licences.
* The ability to meet deadlines and be able to work effectively in high pressure situations.
* Have a strong understanding of IT principles and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to people at all levels.

* To carry out any other duties deemed necessary by the IT & Communications Manager in connection with the role.
* To ensure that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
* To assist the IT & Communications Manager in ensuring that obsolete IT Equipment is processed in accordance with the Company's ISO14001 procedures.
* To assist the IT & Communications Manager in ensuring the Company's ISO9001 & ISO4001 Quality Management System is adhered to.

Key Attributes:

* Should be enthusiastic and take a methodical approach to tasks with an eye for detail.
* Have strong communication and report writing skills.
* Have a hands on attitude.
* Although not essential, have a knowledge of SQL, Active Directory, DHCOP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN routing, IP Networks.
* Experience in managing a predominantly.

A strong sense of discretion and confidentiality Windows based system.
